Sinking. Water everywhere, crushing down on him. He flailed desperately, arms stinging with the cold of the sea, while his ankle sent agony throughout his body. The chain was tight, so heavy, while freezing water and darkness spiralled around him. His eyes felt like they were burning, and his lungs were filling up, it was too late to try not to breathe. How deep was the sea anyway? He wasn’t sure. All he knew was the pain, and the weight dragging him deeper and deeper, his anchor in a chaotic world. The sun finally creeps over the horizon, signalling the rise of many of Greenlakes residents. However, for two of these residents, as well as the elder members of the community they'd just helped out of their beds, this sunrise means very little as they'd already been awake and working for the past 2 hours. These two are yourself and your co-worker Andrea, two nurses going about their morning routine, helping elderly and disabled patients out of their beds and making their breakfasts when they are unable or have no one else to help.
